Bob Dills President & Executive Director

Mr. Dills with a group of business partners owns Western Allied Mechanical, Inc. an air conditioning contractor specializing in high performance HVAC systems. At Western Allied, Bob is Vice President and Treasurer. He rose in the industry from journeyman technician, and obtained an Advanced Management Certificate from University of Southern California (USC) Marshall School of Business, and a HVAC Engineering Certificate from California State University at Long Beach.Bob served as President of IFMA Silicon Valley in 2003 and 2004, President of the Association for Facilities Engineering Silicon Valley Chapter in 2005, and currently a trustee of IFMA Foundation, a global 501c3 charity. He was formerly an outside corporate director of Vita-Herb Nutriceutical, Inc in Placentia, CA, a contract manufacturer of food supplements with a drug license.

Nichole Robertson – Treasurer

Nichole Robertson joined the board of GROW in March of 2016 to lead the organization’s fundraising efforts and support the annual “Block Party” fundraising event.  She has actively participated in several other facilities specific organizations, most noticeably IFMA Silicon Valley where she has been a member since 2006, and served as Chapter President in 2013.  During her presidency she championed the theme of “The Social Facility” and lead in the creation of IFMASV Social, the chapter social networking site.  She has served on the Professional Development Committee (8 years), the Board of Directors (4 years), and the Emerging Facilities Professionals Committee (2 Years). In addition, she has heavily focused her talents on Special Events including the first IFMA Educational Symposium and numerous Vendor Fairs, Holiday Parties, and Membership Mixers.

Nichole has been working in Business Development and Account Management at Teladata since 2005.  She works closely with IT and Facilities professionals to determine their building technology requirements and stays active and engaged throughout their projects to ensure their needs are met.  She has been managing and coordinating educational seminars/conferences for over 10 years and also helps coordinate Teladata’s Technology Convergence Conference in Santa Clara.  Nichole received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business with an emphasis in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from Chapman University.

In Nichole’s free time she enjoys playing volleyball and spending time with her husband and two dogs

Melody Spradlin – Secretary

Ms. Spradlin is a seasoned Facility Professional with over 25 years of experience leading complex teams to meet strategic corporate and project goals, as a builder and as a senior facility manager.

Melody is a graduate of the United States  Naval Academy, with a BS, General Engineering.  Her U.S. Navy service concluded as a Lieutenant in the Civil Engineer Corp. 1986-1991, where she was Assistant Officer in Charge of Construction.

Additionally she has a Masters of Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering and Management from Stanford University, and a MBA from New Hampshire College.  She is consulting professor at Stanford University in the Design Construction Masters Program, and frequent presenter at global industry conferences.

Melody is a mother of three daughters and enjoys her free time with her husband Mike, a commercial airline pilot.

Raffy Espiritu – Director

Raffy is Founder, CEO and President of Impec Group, with 27 years of experience in the built environment field.  He carries the FMP credential (Facility Management Professional). Impec Group acquired Facilities First in 2017 which broadened its offering to include Portfolio/Strategic Planning, Occupancy/ Space Planning, Project Management, Facility Staffing and FM Software Solutions in addition to its Operations and Maintenance Support Services.

Raffy has served as President of the Silicon Valley Chapter of AFE (Association for Facilities Engineering- Chapter 39) in 2013, President of the Silicon Valley Chapter of IFMA in 2008, and is currently a member of the IFMA Silicon Valley’s Past Presidents  Council.  He also served as Past President of the Silicon Valley EOS/ESD Society, board member of the Pacific Association of Building Maintenance Contractors (PABSCO) and currently sits on the Programs Committee of CoreNet and the Commuter Conference Committee of ISPE.

Bob Kraiss – Senior Advisor

Bob is a retired Real Estate and Facilities executive.  He has led the Facilities and Real Estate organizations at Adaptec, Solectron and Raychem where he gained experience in all aspects of Facilities and Real Estate domestically and internationally.   Bob has an MBA from Loyola University and a BS in Mechanical Aerospace Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago.  He is a founding member if the Silicon Valley Chapter of IFMA, has served in all leadership positions for the Chapter, was the Chapter’s first CFM and recently completed his 15th year serving on the Community Outreach Committee.

Bob has been honored with the David Packard Civic Entrepreneur Award, the IFMA Facility Management Achievement Award and the CoreNet Real Estate Executive of the Year Award.

Bob currently serves on the Board of the San Jose Arena Authority, continues to support the IFMASV Community Outreach Committee and looks forward to working to create a student run Performing Arts Center in East Palo Alto and a Facilities jobs internship program in cooperation with the Bill Wilson Center and NOVA.

Michael Stein – General Counsel

Mr. Stein first joined GROW as its attorney on a pro bono basis while at DLA Piper, a global law firm, where his practice included representation of Groupon. His pro bono contributions to society also included the formation of New Scholars, a 501c3 charity.

Michael is Associate Chief General Counsel at Caesars Entertainment Corporation based in Las Vegas, NV.

Julie O’Loughlin – FounderJulieO@GROWorganization.orgGROW Organization was formed in 2013 by Julie O’Loughlin and Bob Dills to provide scholarships, mentoring, and career guidance to youth with the hope of helping our profession grow to better reflect the communities in which we live and work. Ms. O’Loughlin’s distinguished career included 17 years at intellectual law firm Fenwick& West, LLP in Mountain View, California where she was Senior Director of Facilities & Operations, and later in a similar role for Sony Playstation. She has received many honors including San Jose Business Journal Woman of Influence in 2013, the Acterra Business Environmental Award in 2012, IFMA International’s Distinguished Member Award in 2011, IFMA Silicon Valley’s Tom Jones Award for outstanding service in 2010.Most recently Julie formed the Tsasdi Corporation to acquire, redevelop, and operate the Tsasdi Resort, a beautiful 20-acre family oriented lakeside property on Lake Shasta in Northern California.
